What happens if I forget to check in once?
Nothing happens after just one missed check-in. We require multiple consecutive missed check-ins (you configure how many) before any messages are sent. You'll receive reminders with each attempt, giving you plenty of chances to respond.
Can I pause the service temporarily?
Yes! If you're going on vacation, having surgery, or just need a break, you can pause your check-ins at any time from the app. Resume whenever you're ready.
How are my messages kept private?
Your messages are stored securely on our servers and only accessed when delivery is triggered. Premium users get end-to-end encryption, where messages are encrypted on your device before being stored — not even we can read them.
What counts as a check-in?
Opening the app confirms your availability automatically. You can also tap the check-in button in your email, SMS, or app notifications. Quick and simple.
Can recipients see my messages before delivery?
No. Recipients only receive your message if and when delivery is triggered. They won't know they're recipients until they receive the message.
Is this really free?
Yes, the core service is free forever. We also offer Premium plans with extra features like end-to-end encryption, custom check-in intervals, more recipients, and more messages. But the essential protection is always free.
